Our single-needle stitching sets us apart from our competition in San Diego. All seams are sewn and traditionally top-sewn, as opposed to the double-needle method used by other vendors. This prevents our seams from “blowouts” as our awnings age over time. This means the fabric panels are run through the machine twice, sewn together, and then reinforced with a top stitch through the folded three thicknesses. All sewing is performed with UV thread, allowing our covers to stand the test of time.
