Fixed Awning Frames:

All rigid or fixed awning frames are custom-made to order.

All frames are fabricated with .065 gauge, 1” square, and round cold rolled galvanized steel tubing.

All frames include white or black powder coating at no additional charge (custom-colored frames are readily available with a minimum charge).

Fabrics and Awning Recovers:

Liquid Canvas is proud to be North County’s go-to for recovering dated structures. Frames can outlive their fabric covers and deserve new and modern applications. We would be happy to salvage your frames with new (and better) covers!

All fabrics utilized by Liquid Canvas come with a ten-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Liquid Canvas is a Sunbrella® authorized dealer and also offers Tempotest acrylic canvas, Coolshade, Textilene 90% & 95%, and a wide range of vinyls, laminates, and shade screens.

Flame coating is available with Sunbrella® or Tempotest on request.

Retractables:

Retractable awnings allow you to have your cake and eat it, too, by controlling sun and sky exposure. Shade is available at the push of a button. These mechanized stalwarts can be wall or roof-mounted and can project out up to 13’1 with a max width up to 30 feet!

All retractable awnings are installed with a ten-year manufacturer’s warranty. Our retractables are available with motorized or manual operation.

Features include remote controls, multi-channel remotes (can operate up to four units simultaneously or individually), and a wireless motion/wind sensor.

Slide-by-Wire Canopy Systems // Modular Slide on Wire Canopy Systems:

Increasing in popularity, these attractive and versatile patio covers are our current favorite installation. Slide-by-wire canopies are a type of outdoor shading structure that consists of fabric supported by wires. The wires allow the shade panels to slide back and forth, giving you control over the amount of shade and sunlight of your outdoor space.

Sunscreens:

Sunscreens are basically retractable vertical shades. Instead of moving laterally in and out, these units simply move up and down. Like retractables, they can be operated manually or motorized with a remote control.

90% shade screens come in a multitude of colors and allow the user the luxury (and privacy) of seeing outside while significantly cutting the heat and glare of sunlight. Drop-rolls are a heavier-duty version of a sunscreen and are employed to block wind or enclose a patio, thus providing warmth during cooler months. Clear vinyl inserts are available to increase visibility. 

Both sunscreens and drop-rolls come with five-year warranties.
